Draft at Pigs Ear 2013 - London. Pours black-brown with a fine, bubbly tan head. Decent beer. Notes of light roasted malts, char, burnt toast, mild milk chocolate. Light bodied with fine carbonation; fair condition. Finishes lightly dry with cocoa and mild earthy bitterness. Alright, especially for a novelty beer.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear, 05/12/13. Mid black with a thin tan covering that clears to a swirl and edgeing. Nose is dark fruit, touch of vanilla, brown sugars, cardboard. Taste comprises moderate roastyness, earthy cocoa, papery, dark fruit, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with light roast. Ok stout.

Pigs Ear. Pretty much opaque dark brown beer. Small bubbly tan head. Palate is light and dry. Smooth dark malts, a very light touch. There is a little cake cocoa sweetness and dry cream. Mild dark fruits. Light dry finish. Not bad.
