Together with our friends at beavertown, we’ve taken the building blocks of their gamma ray apa and brewed a lager with them, throwing in a few extra hops for fun.

This unholy mash-up is all about collaboration. It’s Hells Lager with a gamma ray fired at it or Gamma Ray as a helluva lager.

Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and crisp. Smooth malts, trace of cream. Hops are a nice mix of fresh orange with a good dose of noble hop floral bitterness. Crisp finish, Great lager, very sessionable.

330ml bottle from cornelius. Pours clear pale gold, thin, but long-lasting white head. Aromas of lime citrus and light resin. Faint lager-like notes on the taste, but more of an APA. Nice beer though.

On tap at Camden Town brewery. Hazy gold lasting white head. Good grapefruit citrus hops. Yes reminds me of both Gamma Ray and the unfiltered helles. Prettt damn good. The hops of Gamma Ray and the drinkability of the helles. Pretty damn awesome.

On keg at the Craft Beer Rising event at the Drygate brewery. This one had some of the citrus things that are expected and the expected green vegetables in the lager and the resiny fruit in the IPA seemed to translate into a pungent vegetable thing somewhere between earthy vegetables and garlic. Interesting.
