Golden with a thin head. Medium to full bodied making it a good winter style ale. Aroma and taste is slightly sweetened.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear, light amber with a small, creamy head. Toasty malt nose with hints of brown sugar and bread. Light sweet flavor with low, lightly earhy bitterness, some dark berries and dried fruits, some dry bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish with toasty sugars, light twigs, berries, faint earth. An unexciting but drinkable bitter.
