(Draft at Craft Beer Clerkenwell, London, 18 July 2026) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, grass, white bread and a balanced citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty, with a generous hop presence. Very nice.

There's kind of a cough drop note here--orange pine/apple, low residual sugar

Light haze on this paleish gold colour beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, a little creamy sweetness. The HBC 522 hops deliver smooth pine. Modest stone fruits and citrus. Smooth finish. Hmm. The weakest HBC hop I can recall. It's piney in abundance but so are many other hops that have much more about them. Delighted to try another new hop, showcased properly by Kernel. Will be astonished if this makes in to full scale production, doesn't have enough individuality about it to me.
