Cask gravity at Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Cloudy gold lasting white head. Saison yeast aroma lots of orange. Some herb. I thought really interesting and I liked the orange fruit. Pretty good.

Cask gravity at the brewery. Plastic cup. Heavy hazed yellow straw with a thin fleeting white head. Aroma is big lemon, lavender floral notes and bready grains. Some soapy parfummes. Flavour is vegetal sage leaves lemon and soap. Sage is prominent. Dirty hop bitterness lingers and is too much. Flabby palate under carbonated. I appreciate the inventiveness but it is too heavy handed. Seasons should be pretty subtle.

Cask @ London Drinker Beer Festival 2014. Not my kind of Saison Iām afraid, light but way too spicy with some pot pourri and vegetal elements. A full-on, fresh taste but just not my cup of tea.

Gravity cask at the London Drinker BF 2014. Pours lightly hazy, yellow-gold with a creamy white head. The aroma is dominated by herbs, maybe sage or thyme? The flavor is lightly sweet with plenty more herbal character, mellow pale doughy malts, minimal yeast expression, light hay and grass bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Bitter dry herbs and grass to finish with moderate sweetness, faint lemon rind. Really herbal but not bad.
