An old bottle. 2016 or earlier. Semi opaque dark amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light caramel in the mellow dark malts. Fruity finish brings mild spice and a pleasant light chocolate. Light finish. Has mellowed nicely. Tingling spicy linger though.

(Bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Dec 12 2014) Pours clear dark brown with a small whitish head and no lace. Nice aroma of dark malts with toffee and prunes, touch of coffee, moderate roast, maybe a little vanilla. Palate is a little watery and the dark malts are particularly prevalent, with some dried dark fruit and slightly astringent light roast. Died a bit on the finish. Came across a touch sweet and malty rather than chocolate/coffee, and the quite light body with very low carbonation didn’t seem to fit the style or alcohol level. On the right track but I think it needs a bit of tweaking.
