Keg at Mason and company. A opaque black coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma is funky lacto, mellow roasted malts, jammy fruit, a little solvent, peach. Flavour is composed of rounded mellow choccy roast, jammy fruits, strawberry hint of oak. Palate is full and velvety, mellow carbonation, nice . Just a little sour note.

Keg at Mason and Company - London. Pours black-brown with a dense, creamy beige head. The nose holds moderate roast, lightly burnt coffee beans, milk chocolate. Meowing sweet flavour with more milk chocolate character, impressions of alcohol, more roast, bittersweet coffee. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carboantion. Just a touch acrid on the finish, with continuing chocolate and coffee, restrained roast, hints of dried berries. Enjoyable.

Cask @ The Grove, Huddersfield. Virtually black with next to no head. It has a smoothness to its mildly milky roasted malts, evident in both aroma and taste. Its strength is noticeable.
