Cask, handpump at The Furnace, Saturday 25th July 2015 Light gold with a little white head, hoppy but a bit of washing up liquid. lingering bitter aftertaste. A touch of citrus, ok but not as good as the New Moon. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask. Shakespeares, Sheffield. Pale gold, with a light haze. Bubbly, lasting, white head. Big aroma of pineapple cube sweets. Lemon sherbet. Some blackcurrant. Taste is lip sticking sweet. Not much relief from it. Hint of bitterness pokes through later. Feels sticky. Finishes more sweet than bitter. Couldn’t get on with this one. Too sticky.

Cask at Aston Manor Cricket Club Beer Festival; clear golden yellow pour with a frothy white head, light pine and grapefruit aroma, taste has sweet malts, lemon puff biscuits, some pineapple.
