Bottle from Beer Moth, Manchester. It pours cloudy deep red with a small beige head. The nose is bitter-sweet, jammy, Victoria sponge, blood orange, piney resin, earth and red grapefruit. The taste is bitter bite upfront, blood orange, red grapefruit, red grape, earth, pine, wood, resin, pepper and mild astringency with a lingering dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty and rather quaffable. Enjoyable.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 26/3/2015. Deep copper in colour with a decent, off-white, head. Citrus fruits, red berries, some chewy malts, whiff of pine and dryish finish. Very good.
