Keg at the Lyric, Soho. It pours lightly hazy amber with a medium beige head. The nose is toasty, toffee, stewed orange, wood, candied citrus peel, tangerine and zesty grapefruit. The taste is bitter-sweet, caramel, stewed orange, marmalade, sherbet, pine, resin, booze, lemon, grapefruit peel and hay with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Maybe a touch sweet, but some nice citrus comes through. A solid first foray into the higher abv realm for Redwell.
