Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark brown pour with velvety tan head, roast coffee aroma, first taste is a big sweet milk chocolate followed by toasted coffee beans. Enjoyed this one.

Cask at Clapton Hart. It pours very dark brown with a small beige head. The nose is roasted malt, coffee, light smoke, earth, liquorice, treacle and light charcoal. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, earth, liquorice, cocoa, varnish and treacle with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Well-rounded and flavourful porter.
