Think graham crackers, roasted marsh mellows, and melty chocolate.. now imagine it in a beer, aged in Whiskey barrels for a year to bring out its unique flavours.

473 ml can. Pours black with short fizzy head that dissipates immediately. Aromas of chocolate fudge, vanilla, and slick roasted malts with a hint of bourbon. Flavors follow same; rich and creamy with additional marshmallow and a bit more bourbon. A yummy pastry stout.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark brown colour, near black, with little head. It smells like a chocolate bar, sweet, vanilla, sweet nuts. Full bodied, richc hocolate flavour, sweet, with a bit more roast in the finish; coconut cream, vanilla.
Good.

16oz @ home shared with Alex (thx for the beer, man!). Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: pretty pleasant, chocolate, vanilla, some American oak. Taste: along the same lines, black chocolate with its light bitterness, vanilla, and American oak. Finishes with vanilla, earthy black chocolate, and some bitterness. Overall: this one maybe a bit harsh and missing balance, but it's pretty powerful beer. Good one.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of sugars, huge marshmallow, bourbon barrels, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is rich, with big marshmallow, cocoa, graham crackers, and a touch of bourbon barrels. The palate is on the thinner side for the style, but it’s balanced well.

Dec 30, 2025 (8/4/7/3/16=3.8): Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with minimal off white head. Chocolate and marshmallow, thin-med body. Maybe aging it helped or maybe it's just a palate thing today (adding a 0.1).
Dec 24, 2024 (8/4/7/3/15=3.7) Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with no head. Aroma of graham cracker and marshmallow. Taste also includes mild chocolate and very feint whiskey. Seems a bit thinner bodied. Doesn't hit the same as the past BA imperial stouts from the last few years.
