Handpull cask at the Bedford Arms, Bedford. Golden brown, without much obvious carbonation or head. Caramel, toffee and wood with a curious note of sweet potato, mango and citrus. Excellent balanced taste. Sweet at first with the bitterness keeping it in check. Oily body but the mouthfeel is nice. I like this quite a lot.

Cask, gravity at The Hop Pole (shop) Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Thursday 20th August 2015 Dark gold with a filmy white head. A light buzzy bitterness but there is very little else to shout about here, a little fruit, quite safe and shy in in all aspects, it is easily swamped by the Gates of Valhalla (tried alongside) both hoppiness and taste wise.
