Aged in oak barrels which were previously occupied by North Cove Vodka from the brewery's own distillery. Coconut and cocoa nibs create a rich, warm, nutty beer with chocolate and coffee flavours.

Gravity cask at the Cambridge Beer Festival 2015. Dark, dark brown, almost opaque. A decent khaki-coloured head rests confidently on top. Smells intensely of coconut rum, with a bit of charcoal and chocolate. Taste is sweet, sweet, sweet bordering on sickly - but it doesn’t quite cross the border. Lots of coconut, some browned toast. The vodka is easily discernible from the taste as well (beer and vodka... I feel like I should be 16 in Eloise, Florida listening to Appetite for Destruction). Here’s a ’hell yeah’ for Adnams. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty damn cool.
