Handpull cask from the Woodforde’s Bar at the 2017 Cambridge Beer Festival. Amber, clear with a spotty white head. Resinous pine, mango and papaya with a biscuit base. Sweet but not too much so: the fruitiness is balanced by a dogged bittering hop which increases its influence through to the finish. The booze isn’t hidden at all, so it tastes stronger than it is. Slick oily body. A well-presented IPA.
