Bottle from Mikkeller Bottle Shop. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt and a little wood. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Very short finish. 221214

Bottle, 4.1%. Almost black with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, dusty and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, dusty, caramel, little thin, little sweet, little dry and medium bitter.

Bottle, 375no. Thanks to nilsas. It’s a clear brown beer with a minimal sized, dense, beige head. The aroma is roasted and lightly vinous, with a faint chocolate touch in the back. A bit boring I think, and that applies to the flavor as well. Roasted malts, some chocolate and a touch of wine. Medium body, soft on the palate. Lightly burnt finish. A decent beer indeed, with a nice vinous touch. Suffers a little from the ABV though. 140530

Bottle. Pours very dark brown with a small creamy mocha head. Aroma is dark malts with coffee, cocoa, leather and some oak. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Flavour is burned malts with coffee, kandi and dark fruits.

Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Dark brown color, beige head. Aroma is off, it reminds me of plants and vegetables. Taste malts, dark malts and other typical stout - flavors but the beer is a bit thin bodied. Still, it’s quite nice imo flavor wise, but I dislike the aroma. Well, not a real succes imo.

Bottle @ joes. Dark brown colour with a small to medium light brown head. Smells wood, oak, roasty, coffee, chocolate, nuts, bourbon. Tastes some coffee, roasty, some chocolate, some wood, very watery. Thin body, fizzy carbo.
