York Beer Festival 2018. Raspberry is dominant amongst some dark, somewhat roasted malts. Its strength is very evident too.

Keg tap at the Blue Boar, Leicester as part of their Wilde Child Tap Takeover. Dark brown with a hint of purple. Translucent with a thin film of sandalwood head and considerable lacing. Raspberry, chocolate malt and vanilla come together in the enticing aroma. Sweet, sweet taste, tempered by a bittering hop near the finish but make no mistake this is a gloriously sweet beer. Raspberry pavlova in the aftertaste. Intense carbonation without being too heavy. A masterpiece!
