Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5
Handpull cask at Broood@VinQuatre, Leicester. Dark gold, clear with a small ring of white head and considerable lacing. Floral and fruity aroma: I get grapefruit and lychee with a note of gardenia. Gloriously bittersweet aroma, turning more bitter in the latter part of the sip. A touch of butter in the aftertaste. Not perfect but a quite good golden.
