A smooth and sessionable porter that has been dry hopped with a mighty dose of US & NZ hops. Simcoe, Chinook & Sticklebract provide juicy citrus flavours and resinous pine notes over the top of the subtle chocolate and roast qualities of the base porter.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Copper-red with a small head. Has a sweet nose with a sweet dark malt taste, and there's a hint of roasted behind this.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate. Slightly purplish brown, translucent and flat. Coffee grounds aroma with a nutty character. There's also a lovely piney hop note on the nose. Sweet taste with the bitterness of the black coffee and pine needle asserting itself. Body is a bit lifeless which is a shame because this is otherwise a pretty cracking beer.
