Handpull tap from the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Light gold, clear, with only tiny wisps of head. Malty smell, some orange peel, a bit of musty character on the gentle nose. Taste is bittersweet with a hint of sulphur straight off, rounding into fruity bitter hop for the finish. More astringency, dried apricot and golden syrup in the aftertaste. A delicious traditional bitter.
