Cask-conditioned at the Bag O'Nails, Bristol 26 May 20201. Dark brown in colour with a slight, tan, head. Sweet, fondant chocolate and coffee bean notes, with a slight toastiness before some more mily coffee in the finish. Good.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby (at 5.6%). Has an aroma of milky coffee and pours almost black with s small cream head. Milk, chocolate and coffee are instantly identified once it hits the tongue. Further sampling brings out the sweetness and some underlying dark fruit flavour. Texture is a bit watery and the finish is bittersweet. This is rather nice !

Calderdale Beer Festival 2019, at Halifax. Black with a dense coffee aroma. It's similar in taste and its milkiness is lost a little for this. It can get somewhat overbearing.

Handpull cask from the Black Horse, Aylestone. Dark brown, only slightly translucent. A tiny bit of tan head on top. Strong coffee aroma with some roast chestnut notes. Sweet taste at first, but there's quite a strong hop bitterness which asserts in the finish. Creamy bittersweet finish with juniper and coffee bean in the aftertaste. Soft natural carbonation on the palate. Tasty.
