Bottle bought through Drikkeriget. Pours murky reddish brown with a small offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with dark bread, caramel, lemon juice, grapes, vinegar, hay, moist soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is very tiny sweet, sour, malty, fruity and tiny funky. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tart, mouthpuckering, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is very tiny sweet and sour with bread, caramel, lemon juice, sour grapes, vinegar, hay, moist soil, leather, barnyard and lemon zest. Big beer with lots of underlying complexity. Sadly all the good in the beer is hidden by layers of heavy vinegar acidity. --- Beer merged from original tick of Track #2: Stairway to Heaven on 15 Oct 2016 at 18:18 - Score: 6. Bottle. It’s a lightly hazy light brown to dark amber body under a more or less missing head of biege color. The aroma is lightly sourish, with lots of berries and a generic fruityness. Caramel notes. Some bourbon hints, a faint coconut touch. It’s sourish and fruity on the palate, very peachy, with a berry-like sourness and a faint vinegar touch. It’s full-bodied and warming, with a soft carbonation. Stairway to Heaven is probably my all time favorite rock song, but the beer is just a really good one, quite a way from the top, but still fine. 141220
