Bottle. Hazy golden body with a thin off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of apricot, copper and watered-down whisky. Flavour of sour grain, bitter orange, cooking apple and a tangy, metallic finish. Not very nice, but not as bad as I’d feared it would be (this was given to me on Christmas 2014 - it only took me nine months to get round to drinking it!) Needs much more malt sweetness. I could only drink about a quarter of the bottle.

Bottle from Crafty Pint. Appearance - deep amber no head. Nose - sweet malt and toffee. Whisky of course. Taste - toffee and malt again. Not much whisky taste to be honest. Palate - medium bodied sweet and unbalanced. Overall - not sure what they’re trying to achieve here.

Lightlt hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy with a modest minerally crispness. Smooth malts. Nice light vanilla precedes mild tangy fruits and mellow whiskey. Finishes light and crisp, with a bare whisper of smoke. Tasty and easy drinking.

Cask at CLoisters Scottish Beer Festival. Pours clear honey gold, thick white head. Light whisky aromas, light sweet malt, honey and light peat smoke. Taste is sweet, grainy, light booze. No real bitterness, sticky finish, Interesting though.
