Rauchbier - Nearly 100% Beechwood smoked malt and a proper lagering time has given this a pround, yet balanced, smokiness but also a roundness and a crispness that you may not expect from most smoked beers. We love our smoke here at Boutilliers and Autumn is the perfect time to be getting them into the glasses of your customers.

Keg at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Ruddy light to mid brown, muddy/hazy with an off-white head. Smoked malt, peat, some toffee notes. Sweet taste with the smoke to the fore, followed by earthy bitter hops toward the finish. Horehound and caramel notes on the finish. Tasty stuff.

Rauchbier 4.7%. On tap at Hop Stuff Tap room Ashford. Hazy dark brown colour thin head. Smoked sausage aroma. More smoke in the mouth. I mean if you don't like Rauchbier don't go near this. It's as Bamberg levels of smoke so I loved it.
