Pigs Ear 2025. Gravity. So so. Some toasted grain, little plastic, grain, earth. Faint twang. Doesn’t seem quite right.

Gravity cask at day 2 of the 41st Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 03/12/2025.
Reddish amber topped with an off white head.
Nose is tangy fruit esters, grains, herb, straw.
Taste comprises bitter sweet fruit notes, a touch twiggy, herb, hedgerow.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Not the best ... overly tangy in its outlook.

Cask handpull at Hop Stuff Taproom Ashford. Hazy mid brown colour no real head. Fruity malty flavour. Good malty English bitter. Light herby hedgerow. No real bitterness on the finish. I thought it was OK.
