I know this isn’t a Mexican hot chocolate stout, but it brings into focus how well peppers integrate into this style of beer, and how balancing a bit of capsaicin can be to offset an overly sweet stout. Not that Churro 10W-40 is cloy, but it does come across sweeter and more adjunct-forward than other versions. Not bad, but I’m not finishing this pint with much gusto.
