Brown in color with a small head. Aroma is bourbon barrel and toasted grains. Taste is also bourbon barrel and toasted grains with a sweet finish.

Not bad, but a little thin, and the bitterness tastes more like the result of over-oaking than hop. Still, reaches the big caramel-treacle-cocoa notes you want, and the bourbon comes through loud and clear on the back end. Pretty good, but no Bigfoot.

Pint can from Beer Rn, 5/19/23. Clear dark red, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, vanilla, chocolate, nougat, raisin, whiskey, oak, hint of smoke. Taste is toffee, raisin, cherry, whiskey, oak, vanilla. Mild booze, well balanced, warming. Nice.
