Weird to make a Mule-style carbonated beverage and then cut the sweet Ginger Beer heart right out of it. As is, tastes more like a mule seltzer, which is a damn shame. The ginger and lime are nice, but there’s no beer here for them to play off of, just a fizzy, flavorless base. Eh.

Been enjoying finding these Devils Foot collabs. Lo-ball @home. Pale gold, frothy soda head, slightly obscured but not hazy. Nose is sharp & fresh grated ginger, probably too strong. Yeasty blonde ale base & some sharp lime. Taste is grainy & yeasty beer, almost spicy ginger juice, yeasty entrails & not enough lime. Crispy, but falling fast. This needs more lime & a bit of a bitter boozy edge to it. A bit of a miss.
