Amber color with a pine resin aroma. Flavor is moderate evergreen bitterness balanced over a sweet malt backbone. Hint of flowers in both the aroma and the finish. Excellent balance, bitterness does not overpower. IPA is not my favorite style but this one is excellent.

Draught at source: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is sappy, spruce tips, European candy from the 60s. Agree with the other raters that this is pretty heavy on the spruce, and if you don't like that taste, you will not much like this.

Very hazy, dark gold with a small head. Aroma is spruce and grapefruit. Taste is also spruce and grapefruit, surprisingly sweet upfront and a slight bitter finish.

Very heavy on the spruce. Kind of a classic IPA underneath, with caramel, orange, and grapefruit followed by a healthy dose of pine. I dig spruce beers, but the herbaceous finish comes on a little strong. Tasty, but one can is plenty.
