This review was imported from my RateBeer ratings.
12 oz. can, 5.5% ABV, BBD: JAN2224
AROMA: Sweet with moderate scents of malt and caramel, which is then followed by hints of lemon and apple. Overall, a very pleasing and inviting aroma.
APPEARANCE: Pours a clear dark-copper with a very tall, off-white head, that dissipates fairly quickly and has almost no lacing. The head looked amazing while it lasted. Unfortunately, it didn't even last long enough for me to finish evaluating the aroma.
TASTE: Lightly sweet with mild flavors of caramel and green apple. On the backend there are hints of honey. The finish is semi-dry.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with a slightly "rough" texture and slightly above-average carbonation. Not a bad mouthfeel, but if I had my druthers, I would prefer the texture to be a little creamier.
OVERALL: In general, I find this to be a nice rendition of a classic Marzan-style lager. It has a pleasing aroma and taste, and goes down easy. Which is exactly what I want in an Oktoberfest beer. Granted, I've had much better (and much worse) Oktoberfest beers, but this is one that I would be perfectly happy sipping on all day as I enjoy celebrating Oktoberfest with my friends.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a clear orange-bronze color with a large khaki head and great retention. Good lacing. Malty aroma. Great caramel and pale malt flavor. Sweet, clean, and super smooth. A classic American Oktoberfest beer. Medium body and medium carbonation. Low bitterness. Very repeatable. Prost!

On the mild end of the style, with gentle notes of caramel, toast, and a little apple, followed by a modest green floral bitterness on the finish. Not bad, but doesn’t separate itself from the pack.
