16 oz can. Aroma is lightly smoky, dark bread, toasted marshmallow. Pours black with a one finger beige head with decent retention. Taste is bittersweet and lightly smoky with flavors like the aroma. A little thin. I could use a lot more smoke. This is tame compared to Alaskan Smoked Porter or Rauchbier.

Can - bit of an interesting hybrid here that dances the line between smoked Porter and German rauchbier - dark amber pour - smoke is moderate in the nose and mild in the flavor - some bready maltiness, a little bit of dry, peaty character, chocolate - a light finish acidity - not as smoky as I had hoped - it’s alright.

Very mild smoked porter, with a subtle hint of smoke on the back end that could almost be attributed to the roasted malts. Cocoa, pumpernickel bread, and grain come across in the middle, while the finish has a slight bitterness and a metallic edge. Subdued.

16 oz can from John, thanks, I appreciate it, 4/5/22. Dark brown with a smaller tan head. Roasted coffee, light smoke, a good bit of earthy / woodiness as well. Clean, fairly smooth. Nice feel.

Taste at Trail's End. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The nose is dark chocolate, salted caramel, pine sap, and pecans. Sweet and syrupy, with a bit of bitterness. Fairly thick, syrupy, and sharp. Quality and tasty.
