From Virginia: pours a sort of mursky red tinted orange with a formidable head. Aroma is berries and some tree. Taste is rather tart, but very fruitily rather than yeastily. The tree be in there and lends some notes. Hard and dry aftertaste.

On tap at the brewery pours a murky purple with plenty of sudsy white head. Nose has earthy berry but jammy too, some vanillin from the oak, soap, light candy, cheap wine. Flavor has a lot of vanilla, almost like ice cream with berries, soap, perfume. Dry and oily on the finish. Interesting.
