Bottle split at L6 at the Tipple's had tasting, thanks to New Ken, 17/04/19. Black with a moderate tan covering. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, light sugar coating, dried fruits, spice, mellow barrel. Taste comprises bitter sweet fruits, toffee, mellow roast, spice, cocoa powder, light bourbon kiss. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost. Not bad.

Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting 17/04/2019. Many thanks! A mahogany brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is waxy solvent, brown caramel, solvent. Flavour is composed of mint choc, medium sweet, cough syrup, sticky, jammy fruit, brown caramel. Paalte is sticky thick, chewy, lowish carboantion.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to New Ken! Poursclear, deep brown with a light, tan foam head. Moderately gooey, with plenty of fudge, honey, brown bread and chocolate. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with soft carbonation. Warming finish, sticky sweet, more chocolate, toffee. Great fun.

17th February 2019 Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to New Ken. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and fairly light palate, modest fine carbonation. Mellow dark chocolate malts. Dominant but smooth bourbon, fruity with a mild wet wood undertone. Little cellar dankness. Smooth finish. Rich and flavoursome but a little flaccid.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with no head. The aroma is strong bourbon, wood, roasted malt, cocoa. Thick mouth, chewy, very sweet, roast, hides alcohol very well, really enjoyed this.

Bottle 375ml. [ As Dark Horse Bourbon Barrel Monster 29 ].ABV: 13.0% Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, bourbon, dark fruity - berry, raisin, plum, wood, vanilla, dark fruit. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, dark fruit, bourbon, raisin, chocolate. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. Nice :D [20150116]
