Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Arkells Bramling X ].Clear medium yellow amber - orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted - caramel, moderate yeasty, cewer, UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hay, malty, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130814]

Cask at GBBF 2013 - London. Pours clear, orange-gold with a light, white cream head. Nice, light dried citrus on the nose, orange especially. Light to medium sweet flavor with some bready pale malts, further orange citrus and light hay bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish with some juicy, citrusy hops. Fine.

GBBF Day 1. Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Palate is light with fine carbonation. Mild skunky hop. Little sulphur. Light pale malt. More sulphur. Finishes smooth. A mess.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small off white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy and light herbal hoppy. Bitter, mild citrusy and crisp hoppy. Bitter and light grassy finish.
