"Vierzehnheiligener Bier - Scheffel-Trunk", Flasche von Meibier.de, 5.7.2026. - "Goldorange mit leichter Hefetrübung steht es vor dem Gast, darüber ein weißer, lang anhaltender, feinporiger Schaum. Durch die Nase weht ein Hauch von Zitrus und Gras, gefolgt von malzigen Noten. Die entfalten sich beim anschließenden Trunk und vermitteln ein Aromenspiel zwischen Getreide, Brot, Süße, Honig, Karamell und Vanille. Dem vollmundigen Genuss folgt eine angenehme Bittere mit deutlichem Nachhall." - Soweit der Werbetext der Brauerei; es folgt meine Bewertung: Orangegold, trüb; kurzlebiger Schaum. - In der Nase süß-getreidiges Malz und nur milde, weich zitronige und grasige Hopfung. - Im Antrunk Getreide, überdeutliche Malzsüße, mehr Hefe als nötig und nur knappe, verschwommen zitronige Hopfung, die in matte Bittere ausläuft. Zu stark rezent. Unschöner Nachtrunk. - Für ein Kellerbier, ein fränkisches zumal, zu süß, zu matt gehopft und zu stark rezent; kein echter Genuß. Vom Faß vor 13 Jahren war es auch nicht besser, wie meine Notizen belegen.

Light hazy blond colour, white foam. Sweet, malty, a bit herbal, bready. Easy drinkable. Good, but not the best Keller.

Draft @ Brewery. Enjoyed in the biergarten. Pours hazy Golden orange with a creamy White head. Honey and orange. Bready malty with a grassy bitter finish. Excellent!

Hazy orange with a large white head. Fruity nose with orange, peach and floral hops. Over the palate came tangerine, orange, bitter lemon and pale malt. Finished dry and bitter.

GBBF Day 3. Bottle. Thanks to Ian. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, pretty sweet. Smooth floralness. Trace of citrus. Light finish. Sweet Kellerbier.

Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A translucent yellow straw coloured pour with fine white head. Aroma is pale bready malts, green apple, cereal. Flavour is semi sweet cereal grains, green apple, grainy. Palate is pale grainy. Moderate carbonation. Good.
