Using 100% locally-sourced ingredients, this lager features hops grown by our Mom and Pop on the family farm, and other MA grown hops too. Malted barley and unmalted spelt and wheat provide the finishing touches for this all-local brew. A mild, earthly hop aroma mixes well with malty cereal notes. Not to be confused as an extra hoppy beer, this is a nicely balanced and pleasantly hopped lager.

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours clear gold, moderately effervescent with a large, frothy white cap. The bose has lots of doughy bread, cereal, faint lemon and grass. Medium sweet flavor with lots of sugary white bread, Cool Whip, cereal, mild tangerine and straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with further doughy white bread, creamy citrus meringue, straw, faint lemon rind. Very drinkable if a bit simple.

Pours pale gold into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet caramel aromas. Sweet caramel upfront turning to earthy resin before the lasting sweet doughy finish

Pours a clear medium golden color with a bone white head that slowly dissipates to a cap. Smells of sweet and bready pilsner malt with a bit of a freshly cut grain aroma and a hint of floral hops to round everything out. The flavor is bready and pilsner like with a bit of cracker and sweetness that lets you know there’s something just a touch different here. Spicy earthy hops provide a balance in the flavor. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Another great lager from Jack’s!

50cl bottle labeled Mom and Pop’s Wet Hop Lager. Pours a clear orange with one ring of foamy head. Nose is very mild, yeasty, bready, lemon, earthy, lightly floral. Flavor is sweet, lightly malty, herbal, lightly floral, some dried lemons, orange zest, white bread crusts, dough. Medium bodied, lightly sweet finish. Fairly pedestrian.
