Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, very dark brown. Film and halo of cream coloured head. Big, fudgy, milk chocolate. Prunes. Lots of vanilla. Hint of roast coffee. A little espresso sourness at the back. Taste is bitter. Some dryness. A fair amount of tartness, too. Oily palate. Finish is very long, tart, harsh bitter. As much as I like Redwillow beers, this isn’t my cup of tea, at all. Smells Ok, but tastes very rough.
