19th December 2017. Ordered as part of a Flight in Crush & Brew, Temecula. The only beer I had never heard of out of the four (it shared stage with Alesmith's Horny Devil, Port Brewing's Santa's Little Helper and Lost Abbey's Lost & Found). Clear golden pour, smooth white head. Tropical fruits in the nose, joined by some Belgian like yeastiness. Taste was semi-sweet and malty. Liked it.

Bottle @ home shared with Abijen. Hazy light orange color, very small particles of yeast residu floating in it, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, sweet hops and it also reminds me of red fruit. Taste malts, a touch of yeast, sweet sticky hops, again some red fruits and a slight hint of spicy hops. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ home. [ As Ritual Hellion ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, belgium yeast, coriander. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, belgium yeast, fruity, spicy. Quit refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141231]

Murky gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is dry and crisp. Sweetish malts balanced by spice. Little malt cream. Dried orange underneath. A sweet and spicy dry finish. Not bad, pretty authentic tasting but I was hoping for a US twist.

On tap. It’s an almost clear one, golden in color, sparkling, and with a small, dense, white head. There’s some faint spiced and alcoholic scents, it’s quite fruity, with some pale malts, pine cone hints and grass. The flavor pretty much the same, but of course with some bitterness. Some sweetness too, but in general it’s pretty dry. Full to medium body fullness. Long finish with fruits, bitterness and a little spiced touch. Overall, a bit saison-ish, in a tripel kind of way. Nice. 130901
