Hmmm, Platinum? Hmmm... Mild Ale? Hmmm... Ultra smooth Kenyan beer? How about none of these things. Full disclosure, if you’re looking for good beer, Africa is not the continent to travel to. Alas, when you find yourself in the land of obscure pale lagers... tick them. 12oz bottle I picked up at Ya Ya Centre. Pours a clear, hay color with a small ring of creamy white head. Nose is all sugar, wet LME, grass, straw. Flavor is overly sweet, almost a bit syrupy like treacle, grass. Watery finish. Neither a mild ale, nor ultra smooth, nor platinum anything. But it’s Africa and my bottle was cold so I drank it.
