Bottle @ home. Red-brown color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is heavy: malts, heavy cognac. Taste malts, heavy cognac, sweet, sticky a bit and a nice lightly dry bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Heavy but very very well done. Quite nice.

Very dark caramel-brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of raisins, light peat, scotch, tons of oak, oak sourness, light vanilla, light mould, oxidized apple skin. Weird barleywine, but in the end it comes together relatively well.

Bottle (from Koht). Pours dark brown with beige head. The head doesn't stay. Aroma is sweet, booze, brandy, oak, malt. Flavor is sweet, bitter, caramel, brandy, malt, oak, sugar, bready notes. Finish is sugary with some oaky-brandy bitterness and touch of booze. Overall: decent sipper, way less boozy than i expected from the nose. Still as far as barrel aged beers go, this is not well crafted - it feels like (old) beer and brandy mix.

Bottle shared by, and thnx to , 90. Pours dark, unclear brown to amber. No head. Smell is intense, boozy, oak, raisins, very intense. overly boozy tho. Taste is full, intense, bit boozy, raisins, dades. Armagnac, oak. Bit marzepin. Very boozy though, unfortunately this kills of most of the intensity of the beer itself.
