Bottle. Chocolate, nutty nose. Dark brown with lace. flavor is chocolate, cafe au lait, caramel, touch of fruitiness like grapes. Decent stuff.

This is the last of the Shiokaze beers I’ve got on hand: Shiokaze Shot Thru the Heart Dry Stout 4.1% Roasty dark cacao, quite full bodied and smooth with a raspy carbonation. Roasty but sweet enough to be balanced. I also get hints of tobacco leaf and nutty notes. Solid beer that hits the spot.
