Light haze on this rich gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Light dry pale malts, trace of lactose. Sweet estrers. Trace of herb. Modest Sorachi lemon. Light semi dry finish. A little clunky but okay.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ (pre-Christmas tasting ) by chriso - London ]. [ As Left Bank Imperial Sorachi Saison ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, grape, apple, light spicy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, saison yeast, sweet fruit, grape - apple notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Bottle shared at chriso’s pre-Christmas tasting. Pours clear, shiny gold with a bubbly white head. The nose holds a good bit of doughy white bread, some yeasty esters, lemon. Medium sweet flavor with some doughy, pale bread, citrusy hops, low bitterness, mild straw, ripening lemon, melon. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, some lemon notes, pale grains, other citrus, dry yeast, light esters, alcohol, dry wheat. Not bad overall.

Bottle shared at chriso’s winter tasting 7/12/2014. Clear golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is earthy straw, lemon citrus, not much sorachi on the nose. Flavour is composed of sweet, grains, straw, lemon, cocnut, honey, earthy lemon. Palate is sweet, medium body, lowish carbonation. Medium bitterness, pretty clean.
