Draught @ Cantillon Brewery/Museum, 56 rue Gheude, Brussels, Belgium 1070. [ As Cantillon Zwanze (2016) Framboise ].Clear medium to dark red colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good to fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - pink head. Aroma is horse blankt, barnyard, leather, tart, raspberry, oak, funky, tart raspberry, light cherry, medicine notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, berries, rapsberry, oak, funky, sharp, tart, berries ala blueberry - raspberry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180317] 8-4-9-4-16

Lovely tart notes. Blueberry is very prominant. Absolutely nailed the American market with this year's Zwanze.

Light funk but pretty much all fruit and vanilla. In a way a dumbed down lambic with the brett complexity lost but as a fruited sour its gr8
