From tap at Tap House, Kraków. Creamy dark malt and roasty coffee aroma with some chocolate and mocha. Flavour is mildly sweet and bitter. Body is medium but smooth. Very nice ’cold coffee brew’.

On tap at Pu?apka, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, some burnt notes, and light wood. Flavour is robust, with toasted malt, burnt roasted notes, and wood. Full-bodied and well-balanced. Really nice.

Bottle thanks to Joergen - pours black with a beige head. Roasted malty with some charred burnt malty notes, dark cocoa, licorice, solid hoppy backing, some sweetness before a dark roasted burnt finish.

At Strefa Piwa Beerzone, Krakow, two years ago. Black, lasting frothy head. Hops, coffee, fruity, roasty. Long-lasting bitterness, some sugars there. Thick and drinkable. An outstanding beer, a bitter stout.

330ml bottle from Ebrowarium.pl
BBE 11.11.2015 - Pours pitch black with a massive gushy head. Aroma of roasty malts, dark rye bread, hints of licorice and earthy notes. Taste is roasty, carbonated and heavy with rye notes. Finish is carbonated, roasty and earthy with loads of rye bread. Okay, a bit too carbonated though.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 11.11.2015 (so today :P). almost black color, very very big coffee-colored head. smells malty roasted, earthy, light smoke, spices. decent smell, smells more like a smoke beer than a stout. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes ash, some roast, earthy, gets very soapy after a while, almost glueish, some soapy hop notes, some grass notes, lightly smoky. finishes with ash and earthy notes. good beer, the soapy notes are interesting (and a bit too much), for me it lacks some roast notes. overall drinkable not too special though. more like a smoked beer than a stout.
