Bottle 50 cl. Pours orangey brown with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Very vague aroma, perhaps a whiff of nuts if you take a real deep sniff. Medium body, vague roast, vague caramel, vague nuttiness, vague hops, vague tartness - get the idea? Use a little more ingredients, show a little love - it's only Xmas once a year after all. 191218

Fonefan 241014. Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is cabbage, caramel, roasted malt. Flavour is dry, dust, caramel, roasted malt, dried fruits. Weird beer.

Bottle.Hazy brown colour with no head.Aroma is spicey a and malty,slight oily texture and sweet bready mouth feels is a bit thin overall and also watery and boring.

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Hazy dark brown, rich head. Fruity nose with some marzipan and ash. Dry with light-medium body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Fruity with some bread and lacquer. Sharp grassy finish with some metal.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Næstved Julebryg ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, cabbage water, cardboard, spicy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy bitter, vegetables, spicy, roasted - toasted, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141024]

Pours hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, malt dust and glue. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long grainy, strange finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy.

Bottle. It pours a dense, beige head of moderate size over a more or less clear brown body. Some lacings. The aroma has yeast and acetone, with roasted malts, cooked vegetables, some spiced hints and some chocolate hints. It’s soft on the palate, semi-sweet, with a nice carbonation level. Glue, coffee notes, roasted malts, concrete dust and some dried fruits in the flavor. Lasting finish. Sure not what I want for Christmas. 141024

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Lovely, clear amber colour with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with spices, light butter, herbal hops, lightly toasted malts. Taste is sweet and spiced. Medium body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes roasted and bitter with spices and fruits. Nice.
