Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Mostly clear gold. A touch malty, hint of biscuit, some citric notes, tangy, drying grassy finish. Medium bodied, slightly chewy. OK.

Half-pint, cask at Twelve Tellers (JDW), shared with Finn. Warm golden body, patchy pearl white head, crocheted lacing. Malt-fruity aromas. Taste of ripe fruits and earthy malts. Mid-dry bitter endnotes. Satisfying. (09.02.2019).

As Nine Standards Pale Ale 4,3%. Delt med Rune. Varm gylden. Lavt tett skum. Nesten klar. Beskjeden fruktaroma. Smaken plommer & druer. Tørr bitter ettersmak.

24/10/2018. Cask at the Murderers Arms, Norwich. Pours pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of hops, fruit, flowers, sweet malt. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, flat carbonation. Fruity finish.

Cask @ Percy Shaw, Halifax. Amber coloured with a creamy head. Has a sweet malty aroma and a sweet fruit flavour. This is also called Nine Standards No.2 Pale Ale.

[ @ Craig has blue nipples post fest tasting. ] [ As Nine Standards Silver Standard ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops, floral. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, floral, minerals, salty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140927]

Borefts VI. Day 2. ’Craig has blue nipples’ post fest tasting in his room. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, airy and dry. Mild floralness. Dry pale malts. Touch of citrus. Light dry finish. Dull.

Bottle split in Craigs room, Borefts Day 2 after party tasting, 27/09/14 thanks to the person who brought this number. Clear pale golden with moderate off white spotting. Nose is pale malt, grassy, spice, straw, nutmeg. Taste comprises citric peel, grain, spice, bread dough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre golden blonde - IPA, IPA ???
