Cask, shared with Finn at Beer Rebellion, Peckham Rye. Good lacing from a film-type layer. Deep dark amber coloured body. Inviting aroma of dark caramel and nuts. Flavoured with nuts and caramel and balanced by citrus shells towards the ending. Well bodied. Likable (Greater London, 28.11.2015).

Fra cask på Beer Rebellion Peckham 28 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Ultramørk rødbrun. Lavt tett skum. Tett tynn lacing. Beskjeden fruktaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Tørr bitter etter hvert.

On cask at Ravensgate Arms. Some chocolate. Quite tasty. Doesn’t drink its strength. I liked it. Quite dark fruity too. Tasty enough.

Cask at Lyric. It pours hazy red-brown with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is earthy, wood, caramel, dirt, citrus peel and varnish. The taste is good deal of bitterness, earth, wood, leather, touch of alcohol, resin, caramel and citrus peel with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A big ESB by any measure and a good deal of bitterness to boot. Really rather flavoursome.
