At the source on another work trip. Imperial stout on nitro, 82 degrees, cooler in the shade.
8-ish ounce slow pour, waited a few minutes for delivery. Nice stuff, cocoa head, only black body.
Raspberry & dense malt nose, soap, a little chocolate cookie. I don't believe there's any intentional fruit in here.
Floral, dark fruit. Thin, even warmth, nice fruit sharpness. Milky, bittersweet finish.
Just a bit denser & it would have been lovely.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine - The Rim, San Antonio, TX. Pours a pitch black color with a thick beige head and excellent retention. Fair lacing. Aroma of dark coffee grounds. Tastes like dark coffee grounds too, with a little stout flavor in the finish. Thick, heavy mouthfeel and body. Long finish. Too much coffee flavor for my liking. Both the 8.9% ABV and the 70 IBU are well hidden.
