Introducing the first beer in a series of heavily fruited SMOOTHIE ales. Fruited Up Beyond All Reason is brewed with a simply ridiculous amount of fruit and sweetened with loads of milk sugar. Raspberry, blackberry, tart cherry, guava and passionfruit infuse this tart ale with incredible fruit character never before seen in a Cellarmaker beer! Contains: Lactose

Poured from a 32 oz crowler. Aroma is super fruity with lots of berry and cherry notes and lighter tropical fruit. Medium light lactose notes. Blackberry, raspberry and cherry dominate but the guava and passion fruit both contribute. Pours a deep, bright, murky, reddish purple with a large, thick, frothy, pinkish purple head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Flavor is very sweet with loads of fruit notes. Lots of raspberry and blackberry with light cherry and a bit of guava and passion fruit. Faint alcohol notes. Moderate lactose notes and light acidity. Mouthfeel is very full bodied but not quite smoothie level with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, it's hard to find the beer at the base of this fruit bomb, but it's super tasty and very enjoyable. It's difficult to classify these types of beer as beer and rate them as such, but they sure are fun.
