A lively beer, a part come out of bottle before I find glass. Dark mahongy beer with a medium, dense, yellowbrown head. Aroma of roastiness, some smoke, pine needles, dark fruits and some sourness. Interesting and unique aroma. Taste is quite similar than aroma, some smoke, dark fruits, hint of sourness, wood and pine needles. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation, smooth and enjoyable to drink. The very unique beer as many others from Haanbryggeriet, harsh and earthy beer, I like this.

Opaque black beer, tidy pale tan head. Fresh and crispy palate. Minerally dark malt, mild. Not bitterness or roast. Mild mild coffee with a brief flash of bubblegum underneath. Finishes fresh with a carbonated bite. Not bad.

Brown black colour, beige head. A bit of a gusher. Aroma of caramel, soy sauce and molasses. Light fruity and quite herbal. Rather sweet flavour, caramel, light bitter roasted malts. Salty touch. Finish molasses and lingering light bitter flavours.

Bottle at the De Molen second Tuesday tasting. Poured a dark reddish brown colour with almost no head and no carbonation. The aroma is dry yeasty and fruity. The flavour is medium bitter, but very rich, fruity with a slightly metallic alcoholic aftertaste. More like a poor English ale. Not a classic from Norway.

Bottle: Poured a murky dark brown color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of coffee and chocolate with some light herbs notes is pretty unique and very nice. Taste is a good mix between some coffee and chocolate with light dry fruits, herbs with a dry aftertaste. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Unique and quite complex beer that retains some drinkability.

Dark amber / brown with a light brown head - roasted malt aroma with hints of dark fruits - roasted malt in the body along with some darks fruits and some hints of smoke - burnt / roasted malt aftertaste that lasts for some time - this was ok

50 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 22.12.2010
Aroma has some smoke and roasted coffee. Flavout is roasted with sweetish malt, some woody notes, smoke, ash and hints of licorice. Interesting and somewhat unique.
